The main objective of the s.M 16.4 project is to develop the local market in the area of Cristian, Bradu and Tilișca localities in Sibiu County, by integrating short cheese supply chains. The project aims to improve cooperation between producers, research units and NGOs to create a local market based on short supply chains, promoting local products and increasing the competitiveness of this market.The project's objectives include the purchase of equipment and means of transport necessary for the promotion and marketing of products, as well as the organisation of events to increase the visibility of the local market.Project partners include the Romanian Association for Food, the Research and Development Institute for Montanology Cristian-Sibiu, local farmers, and various commercial and cultural organisations. The total project budget is €280,307, of which €248,445 is non-reimbursable funding, and implementation is planned for 21 months, starting in March 2023.
